Quietly this week a Tory era policy banning the sale of 'unhealthy foods' through Buy One Get One Free (BOGOF) offers has come into force (after a three year delay, not least of all to let supermarkets make adjustments to their stock handling/packaging).
Whether this will have any real impact on the country's diet & nutrition may take some time to figure out (and disentangle from other factors), but on the face of it, it seems like a helpful move.
