Did you know the original #SuperMarioMaker was released around this date 9 years ago? Yup, it was the 10th in Japan, 11th in Europe and North America and today in Australia.
And this game just completely blew my mind at the time. An official way to make your own Mario levels? With enemies and objects from all over the series? Plus all kinds of new themes and crossover content?
Dang this got me to buy a Wii U!

Random thought:
In a way, Netpass finally allows 3DS users to share their #SuperMarioMaker courses online without jumping through too many hoops, even if you can't search courses or get to pick from a big library.
Unless I am missing some kinda homebrew that fills in the gaps Nintendo purposefully left for some inexplicable reason, and makes the process even easier and more streamlined?
Require publishers to leave videogames (and related game assets / features) they have sold to customers in a reasonably working state when support ends, so that no further intervention whatsoever is necessary for the game to function, as a statutory consumer right.
