EDIT: geht alles wieder!

Ein Freund aus meinem #superduolingo Family Abo schrieb mich gerade an, er hätte plötzlich kein super mehr, ob ich ihn gekickt hätte oder ob es ein Bug sei?

Von seiner Seite sah es so aus, als hätte ich selbst auch kein super mehr, mein Ehegespons und die Kinder aber schon.

Test: keiner von uns hat mehr super #duolingo .

Abo im April für ein Jahr erneuert.

Twitter gecheckt (dafür isses noch gut): sehr viele Menschen scheinen aktuell das gleiche Problem zu haben.

I'm learning #German. Do you think #superduolingo is worth buying?

Note that I already have German friends and coworkers. If I ask them to talk with me in German for like 10 minutes, they probably will agree to help me a bit.

Also I'm a tech guy. I can use some Speech Recognition engine to practice pronounciation.

I even might be able to use some ML model to tell me how close my pronounciation is to a native speaker.

But the thing Duolingo has, is that you can practice mistakes. And it already has a course. Unlike those geeky ways which I'm on my own.

Boosts appreciated to get more opinions and/or comments.

Edit: The price for one year of super duolingo costs more than one year of German classes in my city.

I miss having #SuperDuolingo. I still try to keep up with my daily streak, but it’s just not as enjoyable without Super and I can’t afford to pay for it currently. I keep hoping for another free trial. 🤣

#Today is my last day of my free trial of #SuperDuolingo - I really enjoy the super #Duolingo benefits, and I seem to get a free trial every couple of months.

Someday, they'll get my money. Until that day, I will continue to enjoy making fun of the ads they give me.

I particularly "enjoy" the Temu ads with ads for Black Israelite hoodies. I wonder why they think my mixed-race ass is a black separatist?

Hey #Duolingo, I was getting back into using the app after a few years of inactivity but somehow in activating the (supposedly) free trial of #SuperDuolingo I was charged a non-refundable $4.99 in-app fee for a gem bundle.

That is something I have zero interest in and definitely did not knowingly choose to purchase.

Ah well, ya got me this time but never again. My account's deleted and will stay that way, evermore.
