#Superbloom 提到工業革命之後，技術進步，大量製造商品的效率被歌頌。如今，從機械、電子化到數位化的資訊革命，過去工業革命的邏輯也被一併套用⋯

當資訊成為海量的洪流，人類把工業化的大量製造和生產，減少稀缺、過剩等特質，套用於資訊交換，真是好的嗎？保有理性和節制，也考慮到人能承受的限度，而不是將一切人類無法消化的事務，包括政治判斷，被迫讓渡給演算法。面對社交平台巨獸成為了跨越國度的最有權力者，也是影響公眾討論的實體，傳統的政治和司法體制的檢核不再有用——一切言論的管理都被商業外包了。

…臉書在2006 年推出的 News Feed 讓所有的內容分類不再有意義（a category error），全部變成僅僅是「內容」，不管是娛樂、新聞、嚴肅、搞笑的，通通一起競爭使用者的注意力；同時所有的訊息流成為瀑布，nothing lasts forever.

接著，演算法（machine agency）取代了人類的自我決斷（human agency），技術與意義再度被剝離；演算法沒有感覺或意義，而是透過各種行為的分析數據，進行推播，為了極大化吸引眼球，代表的是更加對立的情緒和不斷地刺激—技術的傳遞（transport）進一步成為操控（manipulation）。

⋯當資訊越來越多，若要脫穎而出，不再是思考和傳遞訊息，而是去渲染和誘發人們心中已有的記憶和情感—更多更強烈的刺激。

最近因為大罷免⋯可以看到社交媒體⋯過大的（假）訊息量，讓許多人對政治冷感、厭惡。

如何讓自己接觸到有意義的內容？而不只是被動的餵養？或許是時候再把「自我決斷」和「內容的意義」，搶奪回來。

透過 AI 可以快速整理龐大的資料，但人有辦法吸收嗎？

傳統 / 類比媒體載體的有限性，保持了溝通方式裡，人類可以承載的接收規模，而不是塞爆感官或資訊爆炸，並且給予人們能謹慎判斷的空間。同時，不同介質、語意、文化和美感的差別，也都構成了對話的一部分--實物帶來的特殊性、規格和摩擦力，在它們各自擅長的領域裡，閃閃發光，也能輕易被人們所辨識（ #Superbloom, C3, the Feed, Taming the Flood）。

如何在海量的資料裡，建立起屬於自己的架構和判斷的標準；如何透過經典作品，掌握原則和穿透的洞見--保有自己的定錨，不被淹沒或迷失。

最終還是回到自己的品味和揀選—少一點，但更深刻一些，保有自己心靈的空間和喘息。
