Mercury forms a sextile to Chiron before going on to form a conjunction with the Sun. Sun/Mercury conjunctions can prove to be both frustrating and illuminating. With the emphasis on Aquarius this time around, we’re being challenged to think more creatively, in ways we never even considered to be possible. We’re beginning to realize that sometimes the biggest obstacles can be solved with ease when we band together in community. There’s much to be done in the world. First we must come to terms with the gravity of the situation. Then we must have the courage to change, to emerge from the comfort of our warm cocoons. Metamorphosis is not an easy process, but it begins with rebellion and the embracing of the unconventional.

This breakthrough in consciousness will facilitate our connection to the divine, to that which can only be understood intuitively. In the spiritual community, there is a lot of ignorance when it comes to social and resistance causes. They’re seen as ‘low vibe’ or too depressing. However, the truth of the matter is that we cannot access the divine until we learn to have compassion for the suffering of others. Divinity starts with your fellow humans, not with a bypassed connection to something that facilitates your own individualized transcendence.

Ease of mind. Trusting intuition. Prioritizing flow over rigidity.

Sometimes we find ourselves down in the dumps. Our plans go awry, people we value move away, work steadily becomes more laborious, and the list goes on. This energy is certainly not that. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. Fear becomes openness. Pessimism turns into optimism. It’s like we’re suddenly able to walk atop the clouds. We can look down on all of the mundane nonsense occurring below and situate it within the broader context of the universe. In other words, our perspective has shifted, our core being expanded into another realm entirely. The desire to be whisked away by the wind manifests as an unquenchable thirst. It would be oh so easy to get swept off of our feet.

Instead of becoming lost in the path of least resistance, take a moment to plant your roots. What does freedom feel like? Where in your body do you feel it? What prevents you from feeling this way more often? Is there a reasonable solution? Be open with yourself. Establish a dialogue with your inner voice. Allow the ease of curiosity to blend with the draw towards actualization.

Don’t resist the current, but be grounded enough to study it so that you may one day replicate its influence.
