I'm about to take a nap, and I feel like I haven't done enough today, even though I totally have.
I dug up potatoes, which I had been procrastinating on for a while.
Ran a ground wire from my radio to the power supply chassis. Everything's grounded already and I wasn't suffering from a ground loop or anything, but it seemed like a good idea anyway.
I gutted my old 3D printer in preparation to do major upgrades to it over the winter and probably give it to a friend.
Finally added a solar panel hookup to my coax window pass-thru. I probably could've done this at any point when it wasn't raining, but motivation comes when it will.
The cats are probably gonna chew on that...hmm.
Got some more chicken wire and finished the hopefully-squirrel-proof cage the other day.
I didn't mention it before, but the wood split a lot. It was very low quality, and I don't think it was intended for this kind of project. I thought about tying up the split parts with some twine. Or some kind of cordage with a wax or tar coating so it sort of self-adheres.
Experimenting with making wreath bases out of holly.
This holly was pulled from the woods while i was doing some ivy clearing
#sundiy (cute tag to share diy things on sunday i want to bring back now that a lot of people are joining or returning)
Did some foraging for teas
I haven't tried a lot of these as teas so I'm curious to try them. I also got some dandelion root I'm roasting rn.
Also realized this is a #sundiy
