I spent Sunday afternoon at Bamburgh Walled Garden which is part of the Bamburgh Castle Estate. It's as near to the centre of the village as makes no difference. It is very dog friendly.
It doesn't have a car park but Bamburgh has some free on street parking and a to pay for car park near it's Castle.

I was accompanied by SWMBO, Sprog 2 and he children (grandchildren 5 of 6 and 6 of 6).
I spent most of my time at one of the café's outdoor tables, grandchild 5 of 6 discovered the large sandpit in the adventure playground and spent most of his time there.
Bamburgh was busy. In addition to the normal Sunday afternoon day trippers there was a cricket match taking place and a major cycle race started and finished there. Sprog 2's partner was taking part in the 100 mile event.
Being a grandparent is a hard job but after 16 years I'm getting used to it.
