A ★★½ review of Suitable Flesh (2023)

Mmm, a lot of errors in this film, but it had a certain charm. The use of split diopters felt odd; normally great for building tension, but here, an early scene used it in a way that was not intended for tension at all. Just weird. Same with the Dutch angles; they seemed more about composition than serving the story or mood. There were also noticeable inconsistencies in camera settings.
