This is the iconic "super stack" in #Sudbury, a relic from the era in which the mining industry tried to fight the acid rain the smelting process produced. It is no longer needed and has not operated for years. It is as tall as the (roof of the) Empire State Building, and it will begin to come down this year in a long, multi-year process.
