Anyone have experience with the drop in car play/Android Auto modules for the 2015-2017 #subaruOutback

It seems like there are two camps - replace the whole dang thing -vs- add something in-between the head unit and screen

Id really like to have wireless Android Auto in my car and I'm trying to figure out which of the different ~$500 units to go with. It feels like a large gamble to take so I don't want to make a "wrong" choice
