Het inzetten van een politiehond tegen een demonstrant op de campus, in mei vorig jaar, was onrechtmatig. Dat concludeert het Openbaar Ministerie na onderzoek van de Rijksrecherche. De betrokken agent komt voor de rechter, net als een 24-jarige demonstrant. Hem wordt geweld tegen twee Radboudbeveiligers verweten, en verzet bij zijn aanhouding.

Youngest child is participating in a #StudentProtest at school against the abuses perpetrated by #ICE today. I'm very proud of them for being enough aware of events in the world and having the courage to do *something* to speak out. But, to be honest, I am more than a little worried for them, as those who support the current fascist regime's atrocities tend to purposely escalate tensions to ultimately justify violence against those who peacefully exercise their #1stAmendmentRights. The school sent out an e-mail last night saying they learned of the planned student walkout and are working to provide a safe environment if and when it does happen, so that's reassuring. But still, this Dad never stops worrying about his children.

But, as I said, I am proud of them.
