Had a small stroke scare this afternoon. I got these weird spasms in my left arm much like I did when I had a sizable stroke in November 2024.

Then realized I had pretty much just pinched a nerve from lying awkwardly on my left side all morning. Nevertheless, I made sure to take my blood pressure drugz and popped a few low-dose aspirin just in case. Checked my BP and it was absolutely normal.

oooh damn i am beat! in speech therapy, a test i took showed my speech therapist how to tackle my visuospatial issues oooof my brain is tired! i will figure out puzzles soon! #strokesurvivor #covid we are trying toddler puzzles and myh brain basically does blue screen of death! boooooooooo!

I've been quiet but working hard. I'm now taking bigger steps when walking and can even take a few steps without the cane; and I'm now able to write very slowly, use a fork or spoon, and floss my teeth. Long way to go still, but some small victories. It's been almost 5 months. #strokesurvivor

We were on our way to the village parks department fitness when we caught the beginning of TED Radio Hour episode, “Future You.”

We worked out a little and swam, being kind to our future selves by committing to exercise.

I worked my left leg hard!
