I'd like to see the author of that highly questionable paper even try to account for General Relativity in such a scheme.

We think #gravity is a "particle" and #time (which, as we define it, is entirely our imagined #fiction) is as "real" and spatial dimensions, of which there could be 2, 3, or many more (#stringtheory)...which means we "know" practically nothing!

In attempting to actively falsify my own beliefs time and again I see confirmation #bias masquerading as scientific inquiry, ignoring radical paradigm shifts in favor of what's easy. Otherwise we would've jettisoned #darkmatter and #stringtheory by now as untestable and unfalsifiable, not continue funding its breathless "findings" that...we need another study to *confirm* the previous inconclusive one.

On one hand, this would seem to be an untestable prediction like #darkmatter, #stringtheory and the #multiverse...except we can see into the #past. It's exactly why we launched the James Webb #space telescope and why we investigate redshift.

Of those theories that seek to challenge the status quo (except dark matter, which... don't get me started) only #autaxys actually has a shot at being falsifiable for that reason. In fact, we just found the earliest ever galaxy with #JWST...

@farbel @codewiz basically both #darkmatter and #stringtheory #research have built up momentum + so start to get research funding which is self-propagating. But I haven't seen a single falsifiable prediction come out of either, only confirmatory studies, to the point of the OP
