I'm a big advocate of #striketeams as a developer organizational model. The teams have their own stand-ups, the leader reports to management and makes decisions when the team is conflicted on issues. These are small teams focused on specific short term goals. When goals are completed the team is dissolved and either reformed under new leadership or distributed to other teams. Leaders are selected from Sr Devs by management or election within the team. It makes it harder to form layered red tape
