I’m almost done with Wind and Truth and god there is some silly writing in here. The part where Dalinar and the Stormfather are fucking around in Shadesmar. Roshar’s #1 man child is being advised by the warped simulacrum of Roshar’s previous #1 man child.

The flashback to where Tanavast betrays Ba Ado Mishram is great too. Rayse isn’t even playing 5D chess, he’s playing checkers while Tanavast is reading the rulebook.

Apparently Apple TV is going to start doing adaptations of Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere books, starting with the Mistborn series.

That's pretty cool.

I can’t believe Brandon Sanderson wrote critical race theory Dalinar in WaT. King Racist of Racistville says racism is fake, to the first therapist ever. And then does nothing about it. This is the goofiest shit ever, especially since people who have finished the book tell me he never acts on this ever again.

Let me be clear, I’m glad Brandon is aware that Stormlight’s racial constructs are fucked up, but I think this is goofy bc it’s a watsonian solution to a doylist problem.
