No, I don't think that Compact Discs and Blu-ray discs would be defunct in a near future. Everything would change, and not for good.

Especially for the music industry when there are so many music lovers (including myself) who prefers physical formats than digital, and depends so much of those formats.

But, wonder about the DVDs and Blurays players that stopped producing years ago. What could happen then?
