Only a day late but we're among friends, right?
It's time to #StopTheScroll and #ReclaimControl!
For March, we want to help people move away from Discord (we are looking at options ourselves).
Have you recently moved a community off of a Discord "server"? What software did you use? What worked? What was difficult?
Or, do you intend to move soon? What challenges are you facing?
Has anyone asked you for advice on this?
Hi tech reclaimers! It's once again time to #StopTheScroll. Let's step away from Big Tech social media and rebuild our own digital independence.
This month our focus is on Forums. Remember those before Facebook swallowed up many of our favorite communities?
There's still some great forums online.
What are your favorites?
What forums do you miss?
Do you currently, or have you ever run a forum? How was the experience?
Are you interested in setting up a forum now?
Let's take it all back!
Time to #StopTheScroll in December.
For many of us we, are deep in a season of cultural or religious holidays, often with a deep tradition of sharing food with loved with ones.
How can we find, keep, and share #recipes without being surveilled and tracked by big, tech, fed AI Slop and have our attention devoured by Ad Mill pages filled with as many ads as possible?
What more nourishing ways have you found?
Boost, share, reply :)
We can do this together. With friends, family, and allies.

Beginning on Independence Day and then on the first day of every month, let's #stopthescroll. Log off from corporate platforms for the day. Spend the time investing in healthier habits and more ethical, responsible, humane systems. Together we can leave toxic tech and reclaim our right to a better digital future.
Inspired by the post by @TheBulletin I just boosted, here are some of my favorite digital garden type sites I like to read rather than mindless scrolling.

What other ways could you find the content that you scroll social media for?
Are there blogs, podcasts, websites, zines, or longer videos that that scratch the same itch?
Why not start something yourself?
