NO TYRANTS/NO KINGS is an international day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve threatened Canada's sovereignty, disrupted international trade, detained tens of thousands of people (including Canadians) in ICE concentration camps, cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies. On Saturday, October 18, we’re taking to the streets internationally. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind. On October 18, Indivisible Ottawa is STANDING UP and saying NO TYRANTS in solidarity with Indivisible Abroad, concerned Canadians and allies around the world to say NO to Donald Trump and authoritarianism. Fascism is a serious threat not just in the US, but worldwide. It is imperative that we make a stand against fascism in our nation's capital.
