Now it took a pretty long time and repeat combs through the #stockandroid and weird manuf. apps to kill any auto updates, associated links, and too many system settings and install permissions.
So much. Too much.

I used chrome to download fdroid and installed it out of the stock file browser.
No playstore, no problems.
Two tiny hobby apps I had to get off weird apk sites.

For my trouble, I was rewarded with a tiny scare --

I absolutely hate it when alternative #android ROMs give me a choice of which apps to install, only to then turn around and install what I didn't want anyway.

Looking at you, #iodeos. 🤨

It's just that #stockAndroid is even worse. 😠

Google, could we get the ability to drag and drop icons and widgets to different home screen pages without it saying "no room on this home screen"? Think a little bit like how apple handles it - if you drag an icon or a widget to a filled up home screen, it just pushes the icons and widgets there to the next page over. Thank you.
