If you walk the Shropshire hills on the right (or wrong) night, with your mind and soul in the right (or wrong) state, you just might meet Owd Scratch. He is particularly associated with the Stiperstones, or Devils Chair.

Made this after reading a couple of posts and listening to an excellend audio story from @Amynearlyknowledgeable If you haven't listened to "The Best of Men" then you should.
