That photo reminds me of this interaction I took a photo of this morning. Luna, the calico cat of inertia has been slowly but steadily warming up to Stella (Miss bounce-a-lot). Stella is still wondering just how safe this situation really is!

We got these signed copies to give to our school library, but I’m taking them out for a little excursion to one of my favourite bars, Redwood, before they get there. It’s 60 F here and while there is still a bunch of snow it’s melting quickly.
The snow has mostly melted at the soil surface in the fabric grow bags and the Hairy Vetch and Winter Rye winter cover crop is looking very happy!

The story:
Stella’s lead is broken so when I let her out I went and sat on the porch in bare feet to keep an eye on her.
She thought this was fun and was dancing and bouncing around me on the front porch.
“Don’t you need to pee? You can go pee now, ok!”
