The akita yelped and shot him a look. “Hey, watch it!”

“Uh-huh. You love it,” Ike said, smirking and tapping his forehead. “I can tell, remember?”

Milo groaned a bit, but couldn’t help but smirk some as they finally started approaching a bus stop with a couple people present. “F-fine, but like I said, no slowing us down, alright?”

Ike wrapped an arm around him. “I know. But now we’ve gotta wait anyway, sooo…”

“Uh-uh. I don’t wanna be distracted when the bus gets here,” Milo insisted, as he carefully made sure to keep his crotch hidden behind his bundled up clothing.

“Aww, fine,” Ike replied. “Still say you’re missing out on some fun opportunities, though.”

Before the canine could respond, they both turned at the sound of a diesel engine approaching down the road. “Oh. Guess we timed that pretty well.”

“Guess so. How long’s the ride from here?” Ike asked.

Milo thought for a moment as the bus approached. “Hmm… probably about an hour,” he said with a sigh. “Opposite ends of the loop.”

“Hmm, good to know,” Ike said with a thoughtful, plotting grin.
