Yesterday's RoseBlowing the dust off some of my #GOG games.
Randomly fired up #ThiefGold (#ThiefTheDarkProject) and suddenly remembered "holy crap this is one of those games that I was missing from my life". Again.
Fun thing: I've never actually played through Thief Gold, but I've played through original Thief TDP maybe two and half times. (I bought the budget release of the game in late 2000s and for some unfathomable reason it had TDP and not Gold). Thief Gold was one of the first games I bought off of GOG actually, yet I've never played through it, and only got like halfway through the first new mission (thieves' guild thing).
I still have my TG saves from earlier, but I guess it's time for a completely new playthrough. Tracked on GOG Galaxy this time too.
Reminds me, I've only ever played through Thief II once and I never got around to playing Thief Deadly Shadows on PC (because it used to run like dog under Wine, I guess) and even on Xbox 360 it had weird backwards compatibility glitches.

Curtis Carter#styxbladesofgreed has been an absolute blast so far. I turned the difficulty up to Goblin mode which disables manual saves, and what it really does is encourage exploring multiple routes to reach objectives. It's even better than I expected.
Also, when you hide bodies Styx says stuff like "wait here" or 'keep a lookout for me".
