Seeing lots of posts from northern friends about winter solstice.
For balance this is about summer solstice, which happens at the same time but in the south.
I assume everyone knows this but maybe not. It really is summer here in the south and our notion of the coming Christmas celebrations include hanging out at the beach, bbq etc. Snow? Not so much.
It is also St Dagobert's Day, which is true for both north and south.
