Jörg HillebrandIn the original version of #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye", the reflection of Data and Geordi in the MSD in main engineering is static ➡️ and does not match the reverse angle shots ⬅️ (Geordi's arms are not folded). This was fixed for the remastering and the reflections move.
The type-3 phaser rifle is seen for the first time in #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye". It will go on to appear in later #TNG and #StarTrekDS9 episodes. Here it is in all its clunky glory! :-)
#StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"⬆️ features a familiar Boby cart trolley tabouret (usually seen in sickbay, "Who Watches the Watchers"↘️) but embellished with lots of black tape, a Starfleet emblem and 80's cassette carrying cases, previously used by the Bynars in "11001001"↙️.
#StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"↘️ is the first time that we've seen the familiar red Klingon transporter effect ("Star Trek III"↖️, "Star Trek IV"↗️, "Star Trek V"↙️) in the 24th century, after almost four seasons of #TNG.
It's absolutely baffling how much time you humans spend rehearsing conversations in your head before you actually have them. Just say the words! All of the shots of Klingon starships seen in #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"⬅️ were re-used from and originally filmed for "Reunion"➡️, earlier in season 4 of #TNG.
