and well… Drapion only appears in Legends Arceus while Bronzong appears in Scarlet and Violet so when I reach those games I have more of a choice as to where Bronzong goes… but which team did it go on in the end…

yeah not much different here… obviously couldn’t use Steelix cause I don’t have two switches nor 2 BDSP games so I needed a new ground type and chose Gastrodon cause why not as for the sixth it was a tough choice as I needed some psychic coverage and had to choose between Drapion and Bronzong (due to it at least resisting psychic where I could have Luxray use crunch…)

2 days until Legends ZA so as such it’s time for another team this time it’s… shining pearl?
Hold on is this not just your pearl team… yes it is but is that really any surprise on top of the four repeats from pearl the game is… literally the same as it was on the DS so even if I tried to make it different (say by using Torterra) I’d probably still at least pick Luxray and Staraptor again…

anyways what better place to start than my first ever pokemon game pearl The team has a lot of my favourites (though that’s kind of easy for me in gen 4) and steelix is a mega evolution here purely due to show what the team would look like in a proper battle from gen 6 onwards…
