These shots of the ceilings of two rooms on Romulan warbirds show that the interrogation room in #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"⬆️ is a redress of the ready room in "Data's Day"⬇️ (and other episodes). The hexagonal ceiling light is pointing in different directions in the two shots.

Misconception #3: "There's only one ready room crystal in #StarTrekTNG". Nope! In a few early season 2 episodes ("Where Silence Has Lease"↖️, "The Outrageous Okona"↗️, "The Schizoid Man" ↙️, "Unnatural Selection"↘️), two different crystals can be seen lying next to each other on Picard's desk. 🧵 1/3

Here are all the shots we get of the two crystals in the four early #StarTrekTNG season 2 episodes. One of the crystals is the one later seen throughout the show. It's the larger one of the two with one pointed and one blunt end. The smaller one is pointy on both ends and will soon disappear. 2/3

#StarTrekTNG's "The Dauphin" is the first episode where only the larger of the two ready room crystals appears. From now on, there's only one crystal on the show and it is usually located on the part of Picard's desk where it is seen here. But what does Picard do with it? More tomorrow! 😉 3/3

Mr. Worf has a human brother who smuggled a doomed village onto the Enterprise holodeck?
