I should be sleeping but I've just been trying to look up stamp groups and there is like none.

I have way too many of the same stamps and I would like give them away for free but I don't know anyone that's into them 😭😪😪

So I am making a stamp collection of historical British colonies.

Its going to contain British colonies but only up to the year that they break off from the British and became independent.

So Canada will be included but only up to 1874 and Hong Kong will up until 1991.

Which kinda raises several questions..

Do I order the folder alphabetically OR in the order that they broke off from the British? 🤔🤔🤔

I know I've posted this stamp before but it is hilarious. It is so messy.

It came out in 1920 Syria. Syria was part of the Ottoman Empire till the end of 1918 when it (the Empire) collapsed.

In short the original overprinted text reads O.M.F, which stands for Occupied Enemy Territories in French which sounds super dark and funny....

... Its a bit like taking over the US and renaming them as "Land That Now Belongs To The Good Guys"
