Diversa la ricostruzione riportata da Axios, secondo cui un faccia a faccia tra Araghchi e gli inviati statunitensi Steve Witkoff e Jared Kushner potrebbe svolgersi lunedì a Islamabad, dopo una serie di colloqui bilaterali separati tra i due rappresentanti Usa e i mediatori pakistani. Barak Ravid, corrispondente del portale americano, ha riportato. "Due fonti hanno affermato che un incontro tra gli inviati statunitensi e il ministro degli Esteri iraniano Abbas Araghchi potrebbe avere luogo lunedì, dopo che il genero del Presidente degli Stati Uniti, Jared Kushner, e l'inviato speciale Steve Witkoff avranno tenuto colloqui bilaterali separati con i mediatori pakistani", ha scritto su X. La sua fonte ha riferito che Araghchi avrebbe tenuto degli incontri con i partner pakistani sabato e domenica. Questi contatti si sarebbero concentrati sulla ripresa dei negoziati con gli Stati Uniti. "L'organizzazione di un incontro trilaterale con gli Stati Uniti sarà discussa dopo il nostro incontro con Araghchi", ha riferito Ravid citando la fonte pakistana. Inoltre, il ministro degli Esteri iraniano ha in programma visite di lavoro in Oman e in Russia, pertanto non è ancora stato stabilito il momento per i contatti con gli Stati Uniti. His source reported that Araghchi would have held meetings with Pakistani partners on Saturday and Sunday. These contacts would have focused on resuming negotiations with the United States. “The organization of a trilateral meeting with the United States will be discussed after our meeting with Araghchi,” Ravid quoted the Pakistani source.
