In addition to indie projects, your friend the Owlbear is also a fan of open source gaming. Like, say… Battle for Wesnoth?

Available on Windows, Linux, Android, BSD, and prob some other platforms I don't care about, Battle for Wesnoth is a #SRPG (that's Strategy Role Playing Game) inspired by the classic Sega Mega drive/Genesis games Master of Monsters and Warsong.

Wesnoth features multiple single player campaigns, online/hotseat multiplayer, and a level editor.

The game's been goin' strong for 20 years now. Loads of content, super stable, and balanced as hell. And for an open source game, the art and UI are both exceptional.

I first played Wesnoth ages ago, when I was but a young Owlbear of… well, like 31 I think. And I still love it to this day. Give it a go, I promise it's worth the time.
