È arrivata sul palco di Piazza San Giovanni per il concerto del Primo maggio e ha cantato ‘Bella ciao’. Ma Delia è finita nel mirino dei social dopo la sua esibizione: la cantante siciliana, nella sua interpretazione, ha cambiato la parola “partigiano” con “essere umano”, scatenando una valanga di critiche sui social. C’è chi la accusa di avere rovinato la canzone simbolo dell’antifascismo, chi di averla addirittura “stravolta, in mash-up con la musica di Squid Game”. Ma lei ha motivato così la sua scelta: “È stata una mia scelta – ha detto -. Io penso che fare questo cambio non sia non prendere una posizione, bensì allargare un po’. Dato tutto ciò che sta succedendo in questi giorni, purtroppo la guerra, la parola ‘essere umano’ fa capire che non è una cosa che riguarda soltanto il passato e la Resistenza in Italia, ma qualcosa che purtroppo succede ancora oggi”. “E quindi per me è prendere una posizione nell’allargare questo messaggio al mondo”, conclude.
