#ModellbahnMittwoch Locomotive 143 250 has now joined the S-Bahn Dresden fleet permanently, leading to removal of the advertisement for DB Gebrauchtzug on the real locomotive. It still wears its retro DR livery however.
Unverzichtbar, wenn man einen Doppelstockzug in der „Altwagensenke“ Baden-Württemberg bis ca. 2019 nachstellen will: Ein ehemaliger DR-Doppelstockwagen!
Leider produziert Piko diese Wagen nur noch als Hobby-Modelle mit vereinfachter Bedruckung. Ich finde das schade, denn dadurch fehlen insbesondere die grauen Fensterrahmen, die aus meiner Sicht charakteristisch sind für diese Wagen.

First coach in the rake was my first attempt at fitting interior lights. Looks very cozy I think esp behind the beautiful 240 "Laminatka" hauling it. Will attempt to add lighting to the remaining coaches in a similar fashion.
I'm finally starting to slowly address the diesel locomotive shortage in my fleet. Here's DB Cargo 232 618. This is a heritage locomotive wearing the old DR livery that operates in the modern times and has all necessary UIC markings for doing so.
As such it makes a good addition for running modern freight and special excursion trains.
