This time new release Amontillado 10 year old. NCF NC 55% ABV as all great whiskys should be.
Nose: Hazelnut, red berries (cherries?), and dark sweet citrus, earthy.
Palate: tobacco, almost meaty, more coconut than hazel, and some sweet dark syrup.
Long finish, some dark fruit and nuts, now more hazelnutty. Very long finish.
