Nippy on Alaska's central Beaufort Sea coast Sunday morning. Wind chill at the Deadhorse airport at Prudhoe Bay has been as a low as -73F (-58.4C). However, with winds less than 15 mph this is not actually verifying the wind chill warning. Yes, -45F is much colder than normal but no, it's not a record low for this time of year and no, -73F is not a record wind chill either. #akwx #Spring2023 #Climate
