Sat next to the Chorillo del Salto river looking up at the amazing Fitroy massif. Surely, one of the most impressive vistas in the mountain world. This location is easily reached in under 2 hours from the main trail from the town of El Chalten to Laguna de los Tres, just after reaching Laguna Capri.

Happy New Year! I start this year with one of my most favorite photos of 2022.
Never have I been so nervous during photographing - not because of the predator but because I did not want to miss this chance.
A puma in its natural habitat in Chile only several meters away on our hiking path. Just at the last part of our hike at the O-Trek in Torres Del Paine Nationalpark. This was really a perfect highlight at the end of this stunning backpack hike.
