Sporadic-E is strong across Europe. The MUF (maximum useable frequency) is above 70 MHz in some places and above 100 MHz in a few places in the east.

Radio Propagation

Sporadic-E propagation continues to be strong across Europe this afternoon. The MUF is above 144 MHz in the eastern bit beyond Europe (red contact lines).

The area where the lines cross indicates dense sporadic-E clouds are at that location causing the MUF (maximum useable frequency) to rise high enough for signals of that frequency to refract from it.
