Most days I only have a few spoons left after dealing with chronic pain, PTSD, nightmares, and mobility issues.

If you’re navigating injury/claim stuff too… you’re seen! ❤

My app @3mpwrApp has a “bad day mode” button built exactly for this! Rest first. We’ve got your back.

It's late (well not as late as usual, but late enough for my tastes to call it late), and I want some sleeps. Not that I'll get any reasonable sleeps.

I published a blog post, that I wrote about 4 days ago. About my reading of
Codependent No More. I've been thinking of a next post, but I haven't written it yet. Though... It wouldn't be that difficult. Part of why I didn't write it, is because I had this which I hadn't published.

I spent a bit of time on the deck. It was unpleasant. Well, it started out nice enough, I thought it would work out, but when I came in it was distinctly unpleasant.

Food got eaten today. Birds got their water, but I haven't given them food, and I've not got peanuts for them since we got them.

Oh, laundry, I brought it up, folded it, and put it away.

My spoons... Right low. Anyone got any to spare?

Anyway, thank you everyone. I'm off to bed. Take care.

The spoon theory has a blind spot for ADHDers, it assumes you can perceive the capacity daily.

I can't. I've got everyday am 8am to 2pm 40 spoons existence, followed by a very long up to 8 or 9pm 10 spoons existence, followed by a whatever the time I go to sleep 50 spoons existence.

But it's nice to know about it because not everybody is a delayed sleep phase statistical average ADHDer. In my case there are two winds, and I can make them both 50/50 spoons if I nap right in the middle of them. 🤔

It's very interesting though 👇

The invisible math of chronic illness: before saying yes to anything, you're calculating energy reserves, recovery time, medication timing, and whether you'll pay for it tomorrow.

It's not laziness. It's a constant equation that healthy people never have to solve.

With bipolar, my energy fluctuates, so my habits do too.
On bad days, I do the easy version of my care routines.
