For some reason, #October always reminds me of spooky movies... no idea why.

So, quite uniquely I imagine, we're about to start our annual #80s #horror #movie marathon #Spooktacular.

We'll be picking from this grotesque line up... and having done this for many years, we've more than exhausted the "good" bad movies and we're well into the "actually bad" bad movies. I anticipate some stinkers.

Movie five was Dark Night of the Scarecrow, a 1981 made for TV revenge flick.

A bunch of vigilante rednecks murder an innocent man with mental disabilities. He's disguised as a scarecrow at the time... yadda yadda, agricultural vengeance.

It wasn't terrible, but it was pretty slow, and nowhere near enough scarecrow in it. The low budget was obvious, and rural California isn't the spookiest place.
