I was watching the new #Veritasium video about zippers and, while the start of the video was great and informative, I noticed the #Hostinger sponsor spot promotes running "AI". Due to this video, now 4M people (minus #SponsorBlock users) have had this terrible idea promoted to them and at least some will probably end up deploying it, causing even further damage to the internet and broadening the "AI" DDoS's power.
I stopped watching and removed Veritasium from my RSS feed. Shame :/
@gravitas I'd disrecommend manual @torproject / #Tor.configuration unless you know EXACTLY what you do.
So I do disrecommend doing this, and instead use if not #TorBrowser, then at least @Waterfox / #Waterfox with #SponsorBlock and #uBlockOrigin if not #NoScript in incognito mode...
@tobikabla yes, it's a fork of NewPipe that integrates SponsorBlock π https://sponsor.ajay.app/

Ich kann nicht mehr ohne. Ist ganz seltsam wenn man Youtube Videos sieht und die Leute wollen dir darin was verkaufen. Ich liebe #SponsorBlock
Youtube is dedicated to making this website worse; destroys sponsorblock with ad injection changes

Here's an idea, a tool that cuts/removes redundant parts of TV shows. Think #Sponsorblock but for #Plex and #Jellyfin. Even when there aren't any ads, you can see that some TV show montages are build around advertisement segments.
Which reminds me of this golden nugget: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MFtl2XXnUc
