I was playing a record, heard it skip and looked over to see Spiegel on the turntable again.

Between the inelegant jump (he rarely skips the needle) his posture in the photo and how one ear is pointed backwards, maybe he's telling me he doesn't want to be listening to Strange Advance, the new wave band that formed here in Vancouver in 1981?

The "Spiegel hates this" playlist now has 8 tracks in comparison to "Spiegel likes this"'s 61. Sadly not #spiegelapproved

Editing to add, he seemed to like it after all

Finally a new real #spiegelapproved track, though the photo isn't great as Spiegel jumped on the turntable while I was in another room, and jumped down as I came over. The record didn't skip either time, he's that good.

I wouldn't have thought he'd like the J. Geils Band, though. "Insane, Insane Again" is the track. It does start with the line "Mad dog in the hallway" and the neighbour does have jumpy chihuahuas.

Library music is #spiegelapproved

It's been a while since he jumped on the turntable. I appreciate he didn't skip the needle. #vinyl #nowplaying

Can't believe I scored a Wendy Carlos album for $2. "The Well-Tempered Synthesizer" (1969) is quite the bop, and I have a music degree so you can trust my opinion.

This came out a year after "Switched-on Bach", and has works by Monteverdi, Scarlatti, Bach and Handel. I love some Monteverdi but I grabbed this without looking at the track listing.

Spiegel liked Carlos' version of "Water Music", as you can see in the first photo. Another #spiegelapproved track!

He jumped up to the speaker just as the track was ending and then he started meowing at me because the music stopped. Not my fault!

Neat, #listeningclub is #spiegelapproved (tl;dr one of my cats is interested in music and if he hangs out by the speaker or turntable it means he likes what's being played)
Brian Eno’s “Discreet Music” is #spiegelapproved though my cat is surprised at how long the track is (over half an hour) https://youtu.be/tLZtnadL1s0?si=kICJ03buW1-JbRtf

I can't tell if Lego Star Wars is #spiegelapproved or Spig was just doing this for attention

I'm led to believe that this song comes #SpiegelApproved. High praise indeed.

Oh, one of the Tomita tracks is #SpiegelApproved.

The “Spiegel Likes This” playlist is now 51 songs, 4 hours 17 minutes.
