It's funny that I keep encountering single mothers w/3 kids in my life when, I've always been pretty much a loner & do not place a high priority on "family" as all women with 3 kids (that I've known) do.

I mention this only because I met an attractive (to me) Japanese American women who was a host at a winery that I visited today.

We engaged in more than idle conversation & learned that we were both from SF & had certain other things in common.

I guessed her age at early/mid 50's (about 20 yrs younger than me) because she said had 3 kids (28, 18 & 13) & a new grandchild. She never said but I sensed that she was a single mother.

I seriously thought about asking if she still dated & if she would be interested in going out w/me but thought better of it because I knew (based on prior experience) that it probably would never work.

It was fun flirting with her & entertaining the idea for the short time that we met.

I least I know that I'm not dead yet. LOL! 😉

I was stuck on my fantasy novel, somewhere in the middle, and I've been for weeks.
So I wrote a sex scene. Back in the flow now.

Life lesson, maybe.

Upside Down Chicken (or... Maqluba or Maqlooba or Maqlubeh - a traditional Syrian, Iraqi, Palestinian & Jordanian dish). This is the first time I have made this dish and it's a KEEPER. Even the flipping of the dish after it cooked on the stove top worked out beautifully. (And yes, this is my own particular version.)
