Today, Democracy27 begins the search for answers. Bringing together 20 civil society organisations from across Europe (and growing), representing more than 1 million citizens, and a task force of leading experts and practitioners, Democracy27 is on a mission to understand what is driving democratic disengagement and what it will take to rebuild trust. Because democracy is lived every day, not just during elections, we'll be meeting people where they are. Over the coming months, the Democracy27 Task Force will travel across Europe, listening to citizens, gathering evidence and turning insights into action. And it all starts today. Meet the team.
