I’ve got a new greeting card in my shop: a Western Tanager, for all my Pacific Coast friends.

This bird was “discovered” by the Lewis and Clark expedition, and mistakenly classified as a tanager. It’s actually part of the cardinal family.

I made this for a local lady, who suggested it to me as she visited my booth at last week’s Friday Night Market here in Eureka, CA. It turned out to be one of the brightest cards I’ve ever done. I did it on my livestream this week.
