Well if it isn't obvious already, I love fighter aircraft. I've also come to really enjoy plane model kits. After perusing some cool model kits and custom LEGO builds, I was inspired to make a list of my favourite modern fighter aircraft. Consider it a "wishlist" of sorts.
1. Saab JAS 39 Gripen E/F
Canards... Small... Short takeoffs and landings... Easy maintenance... Dispersed operations... The F variant has room for a Friend :3

2. MiG-29 (Project 9.12) 'Fulcrum'
A quick, nimble, and elegant beast of a plane. Just chef's kiss. ALSO also, intake louvers...

3. MiG-35 'Fulcrum-E'
Just a rad looking plane with the latest avionics. Sad to see the louvers go but I'm glad this plane finally got to fulfill its dream of being a true multirole fighter.

4. Su-57 'Felon'
I mean just look at it. It's pure eyecandy. The angles... The intakes... The angled vertical stabilizers that also serve as giant rudders... I love it so much dknkjefdhnfdn

5. Su-30 'Flanker-C/H'
Big swan of death with canards. Kills for days. Looks like the MiG-29's big sister so I'm already sold.

6. Su-30MKK and Su-35 'Flanker-E/M'
Big swan of death with carrier capabilities (MK2 only) and the latest avionics (both). A worthy upgrade over the older Flankers, but they don't have canards :(

7. Dassault Rafale
I'm pretty new to the Rafale but I'm liking what I see. La France fait de bonnes choses. Canards...
8. F-16C/D Fighting Falcon
Just a lil guy. Nimble and quick. Very happy to meet beat you c:

9. MiG-31BM 'Foxhound'
An absolute beast of a plane that has no business being this fucking fast but here we are. Those massive angular intakes are a weakness of mine...

10. F-35 Lightning II A/B
As much as I hate it, I do actually like the F-35. A decent looking bird with a lot of cool tech. The A variant is the best all-around version but come on, who doesn't love a good "droop toot"?

Special mention
The F-22 Raptor was my favourite fighter aircraft when I was younger. It was new and rad looking at the time, but I've since grown apart from it. I find the F-35 to look juuuust a tad nicer and with a lot more cool stuff going on. I still have a soft spot for the F-22 though. It kinda looks like a puppy, of death :3

Additional note
I try my best to avoid sharing images of Russian aircraft due to the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War, so understand that when I share images of the Su-57 or other Russian aircraft, it is NOT an endorsement of the Russian government and their actions as of late. This probably doesn't need to be said but I feel the need to make my position on things very clear.
