There are those glued to the #GOP #SpeakerMcCarthy drama and vote. And there is the rest of the US population, for whom #Washington political fighting is either a turnoff or irrelevant. No question which audience is the focus, as usual, of national media coverage, which is obsessed with politics. The hockey fights drive web clicks and attention Yet, right or wrong, #journalism on #USPol doesn't connect with a lot of people. It leaves others feeling helpless, hopeless, frustrated or indifferent.
