We left our cat at the vet this morning to get her spayed. Assistant told us they'd contact us when it's alright to take her home. Still haven't heard from them since. Should I be worried? It's our first time getting our cat spayed so I'm feeling a bit restless. 😭😭😭

TIL: it's a bad idea to have your dog neutered or spayed in order to improve behaviour, such as reducing aggression!

I was checking because I plan to have mine spayed and wondered how it would affect her behaviour.

I've been told so many times that #neutering reduces aggression but research repeatedly shows the opposite: in both males and females this causes increases in aggression, fearfulness, sensitivity and so on.

And the earlier the worse the effects!
