We went to look at the weir yesterday and it’s really almost undetectable. Usually there’s a fairly large step down, where the pelicans fish. (Obviously no pelicans here in the next little while)

Saskatoon riverboat Prairie Lily docked due to low water levels, sandbars
The Prairie Lily river boat has run aground after over a decade of sailing the South Saskatchewan River. On Wednesday, owners of the Saskatoon riverboat said the water level is so low that they can’t cruise the ship anymore.

It was our second time in the Prairie Lily. We got to see the lower deck for the first time, it was very interesting. But, the view from the top deck cannot be beat. The weather last weekend was perfect for this Saskatoon adventure.
