- System reboots as expected, when expected
- System gets stuck in "BIOS Self Healing backup process... 100%" loop of death
- System does not respond to "Fn+R / Fn+B" key combos for BIOS recovery stages
- System is now bricked
- System will never have security issues!

Good job Lenovo. Now, the question for tomorrow is, when I dig the X1 Carbon G8 out of storage, and it also needs a BIOS update... am I masochistic enough to trust their process on a slightly different machine from the same generation? 🤔
