At first I was disappointed to see the removal of Quick Rumble mode as part of the update to #SonicRumble today. That mode was really good for if I needed to kill some time quickly, and didn't have enough for a full Ring Survival.
But after playing a few rounds of the new Party mode, I'm tentatively optimistic about the direction the game is taking.
I honestly think it might be even better, because it still takes under five minutes to play, and has completely new stages — and it feels a lot harder to get to the top! (Maybe it just feels that way, because your name and place isn't listed unless you get in the top three)
Second place was the best I could manage today, as shown here 
Not that I'm complaining!
