My old Fender amp is super-buzzy at the best of times but I have a Vox Phantom re-issue and in three of the pickup positions it is insanely buzzy; through the Fender it's unbelievable how buzzy it is. Like comically buzzy.

So over at SongFight! they do an 8-week thing called “Nur Ein” (Only One) that a whole bunch of folks enter; you get a title prompt and challenge and have a week to make a tune and then people get voted out weekly until there’s a winner. Back in 2016 I made it to the final round which was titled “Leviathan” so I wrote a country tune and asked a musical internet acquaintance named Amelia to sing harmony and then I won the whole shebang. Fun!
